AFO Casting and Fabrication Methods

This workshop is "AFO Casting and Fabrication Methods." The course contains a brief history of ankle foot orthotic systems, and techniques for three AFO designs, the Boise Brace “Bi-valve AFO”, Articulated Composite AFO, and Dynamic Strut AFO. We will cover procedures for these devices using rigid fiberglass cast tape, cast modification, and fabrication.
We are offering our "AFO Casting and Fabrication Methods" course for $40. This course is worth 3(S) Continuing Education credits from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics Inc. (ABC), 3 MCE Continuing Education credits from Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC) or 3.5 credits from (BOC) Board of Certification/Accreditation. You must be certified by ABC or OPC, Get an 80% or better on the test questions and you will receive science Category 1 credits. (This course is for certified; Orthotists, Orthotic Assistants, Orthotic Technicians).
